Rosa Joanes was born in Benaulim, Goa on November 06, 1919. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family.

~ Mother of Emiliano/Min, Eric, Casmiro/Melita, Philomena/late Cypriano, Matilda/Rosario.
~ Grandmother of Jeannete/Vanessa/Desmond, Anne-Marie, Hazel/Heather, Christopher/Matthew/Julius, Kevin/Sabrina.
~ Great-Grandmother of Elan, Lucas, Eithan, Bruno, Gabriela/Madalena Rosa.
Her funeral took place on Wednesday 4 March 2009, 1.30pm at Sacred Heart Church, Sittingbourne.

i remember her teaching me to knit a scarf for my barbie while we watched General Hospital and she told me all about Luke and Laura...oh the troubles they had!

Oh yes, Granny's chapatis, made with love. When she had come to LA in the late 70's, I missed her terribly after she left and saved a piece of her chapati for over a year, along with her slippers and vaseline jar. I finally let go of the chapati after it crumbled. Granny laughed hysterically when I reminded her of this last year.
